Information for the winter semester  [21.08.20]

• All lectures planned for the winter semester 2020/21 and announced in the course catalogue will be held, however, not in classroom mode, but exclusively in digital form.

• Concrete instructions for the respective lectures can be found in the forums of the corresponding Ilias courses.

• Please go to the Ilias pages (-> the link can be found on the homepage under “courses”) and join the respective course. Joining the Ilias courses this semester is not protected by a departmental password, but by an individual confirmation of admission by the departmental staff.

• You will then receive a confirmation of membership respectively access to the course within one or two working days.

• Please read carefully all the information already available in the Ilias forum when you first join the course.

• Make sure that you have activated the notification function of the respective Ilias forum so that you receive new relevant information promptly.

• All slides and exercises will be online on Ilias when the semester starts, so that an overview of the course as a whole is possible.

• Videos of the lectures (presentation of slides with audio comments in webm-format) are then successively made available in Ilias for asynchronous offline download.

• In addition, there will be common online consultation hours for all participants, where questions about the already uploaded lectures can be asked.

• Solutions to exercises will also be recorded on video and published on Ilias.

• Analogous to the lectures, there will also be joint online consultation hours for the exercises/examination colloquia, the dates of which will be announced.
